Trackplot.com is a subscription based service that allows you to monitor and locate your assets directly from a secure website at anytime of day in real-time. This secure website provides you with a map showing the latest location of all your personnel and assets. More detailed information for each asset is available and it shows, for example, status, sensor readings, current speed and heading. Trackplot.com uses the latest Stratigi and 1:50,000 digital maps from the Ordnance Survey as a backdrop against which the assets are displayed. Most people are already familiar with the paper versions of these maps and so a transition to viewing these in digital format will take no effort at all. Ordnance Survey maps are produced to a high level of accuracy enabling you to be confident on the precise location of the assets. The maps also provide a high level of detail including rivers and streams, contours, woodland areas, ensuring that you can better understand the terrain on which your personnel or assets are located. ![]() Photo by Hans Thoursie Trackplot.com is particulary well suited to project specific tracking as customer specific maps and other geographic information can be easily added in and will only be visible to you and your registered users. Trackplot has teamed up with landmaps.co.uk to provide you with a complete turnkey solution of creating the required mapping for your project area , for example a golf course, outdoor festival or competition, using the latest and most accurate GPS surveying technology. Our service can track many different types of tracker, including all the trackers purchased from this website, ensuring that if you already own a number of these trackers this investment does not need to be written off just because you chose to use an alternative web based location service. Other non-supported trackers can be added on request, at a nominal fixed development cost. Trackplot.com will allow you to display either the latest position for each tracker, display only trackers within a specific group, or display the historic snail trail for an individual tracker. Upto 30 days of snail trail can be displayed at anyone time, or for more detailed analysis the complete snail trail can be downloaded and imported into a GIS package. Alerts can be sent from Trackplot.com to a number of contacts via email or SMS to warn them of specific events relating to a tracker. This alert will initially be generated by a tracker (depending on make & model) in one of several ways. It can either be a press of a button, motion detection, or the triggering of an switch. This alert is received by trackplot.com which then logs the incident and forwards it to the user defined series of contacts via email or SMS. The trackplot service is managed, maintained and has been developed in Scotland by Trackplot Ltd. We are continously updating the service by adding extra functionality, trackers and improving the user friendliness of the web interface. We very much welcome user comments and suggestions to ensure we provide you with the tools required to most effectively manage your assets. There are two different types of subscription available from trackplot.com depending on the type of tracker you intend to use. The subscription provides you and your colleagues with full access to your account on trackplot.com.
