Q.Do you deliver outside mainland UK? A. Anywhere within the UK is covered by Standard P&P (including Northern Ireland, Highlands & Islands of Scotland) We can also delivery to the Republic of Ireland at the appropriate P&P rate. We can deliver to Western Europe, but you cannot buy direct from the online shop and we will need to quote you for P&P. Q. How long does it take for delivery? A. All items will be sent by Royal Mail Next Day Recorded Delivery (prior to 1pm). This will depends on stock levels and the order needs to be placed prior to 1pm. Q. Is the delivery recorded? A. Your order will be sent by Special Delivery and will require a signature on delivery. Q. Is VAT included in the shop prices? A. Prices displayed in our shop are exclusive of VAT. The rate of VAT is subject to variation and is currently 17.5%. Q. Do you need a Basic Annual Service Plan to use a SPOT device? A. If you wish to use the standard SPOT website, then yes, you need to purchase an Annual Basic Service Plan. You can purchase a bundled package including a SPOT Messenger and the first years Annual Basic Service Plan. After the first year the Basic Service Plan can be renewed from the findmespot.eu website. If you wish to use the trackplot.com service then you do not require the Basic Service Plan as it is included in your monthly subscription. Q. What is included in the SPOT Annual Basic Service Plan? A. This gives you access to the findmespot.eu and SPOT Adventures websites; enables OK, Custom, Alert and SOS messages to be send from your SPOT Messenger to the server; send upto 200 SMS messages to friends, colleagues & family to tell them you are OK (or needing help). SMS messages can be send to any mobile phone, worldwide. Your credit card on file will be charged €0.10 for each additional text message. Q. What is Track Progress? A. Track Progress enables the SPOT Messenger to relay your exact location to the website (findmespot, facebook or your SPOT Adventures page) every 10minutes for a duration of 24hrs. After 24hrs you need to reactivate the tracking on your SPOT device by pressing the “Track” button. Track Progress is already included in the trackplot.com monthly subscription. |
