Trackplot Follows DecAid Munro Challenge

DecAid, is a national charity appeal founded by students who are organising and participating in a number of challenges to help raise £350,000 for military services charities. Their current challenge is the Munro Mission which consist of the participants climbing all the 283 Scottish Munros in just 49 days, in memory of service men and women who lost their lives while serving in Afghanistan.

Trackplot are supporting DecAid by providing a SPOT 2 GPS Messenger and together with access to Trackplot’s tracking portal, which will show an accurate trail of their progress during the fund raising challenge. The SPOT device not only tracks the movements of the fund raisers at specified intervals, but it can also send personalised messages and SOS messages to alert of any danger which they may find themselves in. Trackplot’s tracking portal is a great feature for the team as it shows family members, those who have donated, and interested followers the route taken by the team and the terrain they are facing.
